Guiding the Let’s Talk Interactive vision

Arthur Cooksey serves as the Chairman and CEO of Let's Talk Interactive, Inc. (LTI), leading the corporate strategy and development to drive the adoption of LTI's suite of products and services. He founded the technology platform in 2001 as a way to provide consumers with access to qualified and licensed behavioral health professionals, which he later evolved to customized services and telehealth technology that LTI is known for today.

The platform, a recipient of The 2020 Zoom ISV Inaugural Trailblazer Award, is having a major impact on expanding access to care for many organizations including schools, skilled nursing facilities, non-profits, child welfare organizations, and more. For example, in the Florida Panhandle region, championed by Florida's First Lady Casey DeSantis and her Hope for Healing Initiative, LTI's telehealth program placed telehealth kiosks in 63 public schools throughout the region. As a result, more than 60,000 students, many of whom are located in rural areas, have access to mental health support.

In addition to collaborating with schools, Arthur continues to lead the growth of LTI, partnering with Kathy Ireland, one of the top U.S. health advocates for women and her multi-billion dollar brand, Kathy Ireland Worldwide. Art has also led LTI's solutions into correctional institution programs, working alongside sheriff teams in Franklin County, FL to reduce recidivism through behavioral health support for inmates. He emphasizes telehealth innovation among political leaders by attending judiciary hearings and White House events including the Summit on Transforming Mental Health Treatment to Combat Homelessness, Violence, and Substance Abuse. The media frequently turns to Art for commentary on the importance of telehealth, in addition to Art's recently published OpEd on the topic in USA Today.

Prior to Let's Talk Interactive, Arthur held corporate and strategic roles for more than a decade, including leading corporate development with Bank of America Merchant Services. He was selected as a member of Bank of America's Market President team where he reviewed social, economic and education issues, and sat on a political action committee that supported nonprofits throughout the Charlotte region.

In 2021, Art was named a Health Care Hero by the Charlotte Business Journal. A Charlotte native, Arthur continues to reside in his hometown.

Former FBI profiler, clinical psychiatric nurse and bestselling author Candice DeLong is an internationally recognized homicide expert and TV news commentator. She is widely regarded as a voice and advocate for adult survivors of child abuse as well as those afflicted with mental illness.

The nation's top news outlets often tap Candice for her expertise - USA Today, The Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, the New York Times, L.A. Times and NY Daily News have all quoted Candice on major crime stories. She has been a guest on CNN, MSNBC, FOX, Meet the Press, Hardball, Dateline, 48 Hours, TODAY, Good Morning America, Dr. Phil, and Oprah. She was also the creator and talk show host of CRIME TIME with Candice DeLong, a Cumulus radio show broadcast.

For the past 14 years, Candice has been the host and the face of the longest-running show on Investigation Discovery (ID), DEADLY WOMEN, now seen in 160 countries. Candice uses her expertise as a career investigator, her decade of treating the mentally ill, and her knowledge of aberrant human behavior to explain the psychology, motivation, and behavior of the world's most fascinating killers. She also created, executive produced and was the host of FACING EVIL with Candice DeLong on ID, a show that took her behind prison walls and even to death row to talk one-on-one with 36 convicted killers.

Prior to her twenty-year career as an FBI agent and profiler, Candice was Head Nurse at Northwestern University Hospital's Institute of Psychiatry in Chicago, Illinois. Today she lectures widely to lay, university, and law enforcement professionals on such issues as mental illness, safety for women and children, sexual abuse prevention, and her storied career in the FBI.

In addition to her role on the Board of Let's Talk Interactive, Candice sits on the Boards of Mothers Against Sexual Abuse (M.A.S.A.) and Roots for Individual and Social Empowerment (RISE), a nonprofit dedicated to supporting survivors of child sex abuse and to eliminating the statute of limitations on child sex abuse cases, both civil and criminal.

Executive Vice President, Human Resources

Marian has served as a Human Resources Executive in the Financial Services Industry for over 30 years. She oversees all aspects of Human Resources, Learning and Leadership Development, talent acquisition and retention, performance management, and leading programs that foster associate engagement. She also served as a Psychometrist and Human Resources Manager for the Eckerd Foundation, a therapeutic wilderness program for emotionally handicapped children. She has also served on various non-profit boards within education and social services.

Marian graduated from Lander University with a B.S. degree in Psychology.

Dr. J Mack Slaughter, MD is an emergency medicine physician in the North Texas area who sees the need for innovation on a daily basis. With hospitals at capacity and burned out staff leaving the medical field daily, the necessity of integrating telemedicine solutions has never been more clear. Dr. Slaughter studied neuroscience as an undergraduate before earning his medical degree at UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas. He then did residency training at the busiest emergency department in the country, Parkland Hospital.

A few years after graduating from residency, J Mack found a way to successfully fuse his passion for entertainment with his experience in the medical field. With over 30 million views since he started posting videos online in January 2021, Dr. Slaughter has been educating the public using his unique blend of energy, humor, and medical facts. He has earned over 280,000 followers across social media platforms and continues this exponential growth daily. Dr. Slaughter is honored and excited to bring his knowledge and experience in medicine and entertainment to help the medical field evolve through Let's Talk Interactive.
