Press Release: Let’s Talk Interactive Named a Finalist for Charlotte Business Journal’s Health Care Heroes Awards

Charlotte, NC [August 24, 2021] - Let’s Talk Interactive, Inc. (LTI), a leader in customizable telehealth solutions, today announced it has been selected as a finalist for the Charlotte Business Journal’s inaugural Health Care Heroes Awards in the Innovator category. The program recognizes the dedication and achievements of the local health care community.

LTI is one of the first true innovators in telehealth. Charlotte native Art Cooksey founded the firm at the turn of the century and since then, LTI’s technology and offerings continue to grow and evolve--especially amid COVID as telehealth adoption and acceptance have skyrocketed.

LTI customizes telehealth software and hardware and continues to evolve the technology based on what is best for the provider and patient. For example, in 2020, LTI launched custom solar-powered telehealth kits to Florida EMS teams for onsite medical support in COVID-19 triage areas, as well as for future disaster support as hurricane season approached. Additionally, this past June, LTI launched the new Tempscreen, supporting businesses and health centers with access management. The technology is a safe, standalone check-in system providing health screening and identity verification for those entering the building.

A virtual event to announce the category winners will be held on September 22 at noon EST. All winners will be included in the Health Care Heroes Special Section Report published in the October 15 issue of the Charlotte Business Journal.
